Review – I Kill Giants

This review contains some minor SPOILERS!

I Kill Giants, directed by Anders Walter, was a film that I think needed to find some lighter moments in its character’s adventures, rather than being a film that emotionally beats you down to the point where you have nothing left to give. There is a powerful story in, I Kill Giants, but I think some creative decisions unfortunately led to this film not delivering on the poignant story / message that it was trying to explore. Review – Sing Street

Sing Street, directed by John Carney; a film that is genuinely funny, and genuinely uplifting. Despite the film lapsing into some of the tropes that usually come along with a film like this, I still found myself smiling throughout, and bobbing my head along to the catchy tunes. This is a film with some wonderful elements, but also some glaring issues; so a review will be the best thing for me to clear some of those things up – so without further-a-due. Read more
