Maggie, directed by Henry Hobson is a small film in a large, self-destructing world. A film that brings what may be Arnold Schwarzenegger’s most powerful and heartfelt performance to the big screen, and also a film that tells a beautiful, but inevitably sad story, and wraps it all up in some simply stunning cinematography. Review – Southpaw
Southpaw, directed by Antoine Fugua is an emotionally charged film. Sadly, it’s also a film that never really lives up to its potential. With some rushed structuring, and some noticeably lacking development of certain integral characters, there are clear issues in a film that… at its core, still has something worthwhile in it. Review – Telltale’s Game of Thrones Ep.5 – Nest of Vipers
After what I personally felt was the best episode of Telltale’s Game of Thrones series with Episode 4, Telltale continues the streak of having another brilliant episode, though if it is superior to the last, is something I’m still not sure on. Review – Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC
Checkout my full review of Batman: Arkham Knight here.
Batman: Arkham Knight’s first big DLC, Batgirl: A Matter of Family, developed by WB Montreal and not Rocksteady is a disappointingly short experience. Though the fun and engaging gameplay returns, the DLC does little to give the player reason to want to see it through to the end. Read more
Review – Terminator Genisys
Terminator Genisys, directed by Alan Taylor is a messy, almost unnecessary film that over complicates an already complicated franchise. Despite it introducing some new and interesting ideas, there is a lot about the film that just continues down the unfortunate path, the overall Terminator franchise has taken. Read more
Reveiw – Slow West
Slow West, directed by John Maclean is a simple, yet heart filled film. Though it omits some of the more helpful building blocks for concise storytelling, it does in the end; deliver something different and more satisfying than is first expected. Read more
